Rachel Lehmann-Haupt, writer, Business 2.0
Rachel Lehmann-Haupt has been covering digital culture and business since 1995. As a freelance writer, her work has appeared in The New York Times, Wired, The Industry Standard, Salon, Brill's Content and Vogue. She has also worked as a content consultant for a number of online businesses. Currently she is a staff writer and salon director for Business 2.0.

Rich Glaser, Partner, Hudson Partners
Richard has been a partner of Hudson Ventures, a New York City-based venture capital fund managing over $150 million of capital, since 1998. Prior to joining Hudson Ventures, he was a Managing Director at Manning & Napier Advisors, Inc., an $8 billion money management firm, where he was responsible for their venture capital activities. From 1987 to 1995, he was a general partner at Lepercq Capital Management, Inc. (LCM), where he co-managed three venture capital funds and, during his tenure at LCM, he assumed executive positions at two of LCM's portfolio companies. From 1985 to 1987, Richard was an associate in the merger and acquisitions department at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets. Richard now serves on the Boards of the following companies: OpenService, MIDAS Vision Systems and Prescient Systems. He is a board member of the Rochester Venture Capital Group, the Venture Development Council (the operating board for High Technology of Rochester's business incubator) and Digital Rochester. Richard holds a B.A. degree from Haverford College and a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia University. He resides in Rochester, New York.

Margot Finley, president, Avondale Search International
Margot E. Finley's experience in the field of Executive Search began in the early 1990s with Humana International Group Plc in London, England where she helped to establish over 25 executive search offices throughout the United Kingdom. Humana International specializes in finding high caliber executives throughout Europe and Asia in positions starting at the fifty thousand salary range and up. Ms. Finley developed and implemented many of the training programs utilized to improve the effectiveness of the recruiters across the network. She established what is now known as Avondale Search International, Inc. in August of 1996. Since then, Avondale Search International has served its clients well by placing hundreds of top professionals in locations across the United States. Avondale Search International's client list includes Oracle, Compaq, NCR, Lanier Worldwide, ADP, Kronos, E-Marketworld and i2 Technologies. The firm specializes in technology, sales, marketing and management professionals. Prior to entering the field of executive and acquisition search, Ms. Finley worked as a Broadcast Journalist. She graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1988 with a BA in English.

Sam Travis Ewen, President, Eisnor Interactive
Prior to becoming president at Eisnor Interactive, Sam was the company's general manager, basically overseeing every project from beginning to final production. He is involved in anything from media buying, creating & organizing radio spots and spearheading creative brainstorms. On the corporate level, Sam ensures that the client management team, creative team and production team are working cohesively to make the most effective campaign for each client. He also works closely with the ceo and chief strategy office on corporate growth strategies and with the business development team on incoming business. Sam comes to EI from USWEB/CKS where he was Executive Producer overseeing major media clients and detailed site builds for such clients as Hearst, Nabisco, SureTrade.com, Duracell and more. Prior to USWEB/CKS, he was senior producer at SiteSpecific, the premiere direct marketing company on the web. Sam started in the interactive world in 1993 after a few years in the music business by starting his own freelance website development business with clients ranging from Streetsound urban magazine to Pfizer and NYU. He then took a position as Interactive Marketing Manager at Muze, Inc., an entertainment database company selling back-end information to e-commerce sites and retail establishments. His true dream is to throw a party on the Brooklyn Bridge and DJ it until the police kick him off.
