1. Eureka, NV: The building on the left is the restored Jackson House (built 1877). The old movie theater (built 1879) was converted from an opera house. In between these two is a tiny keyhole bar.

2. Austin, NV: Rich silver ore was found here in 1862 and then the mad rush. Population grew to 7,000 and then declined to 200. The town is growing back again due to gold ore.
